Hey, hot take, but if a company decides they no longer want to distribute a piece of media they own the rights to, then they should be legally required to sign the rights back over to the creator.

ALTI firmly believe it shouldn't be embarrassing for you to have your real life be bettered by fiction. I think it's one of the best things about fiction and the mark of truly great art. Fun for fun's sake is also valuable, but part of the point of fiction is exploring ideas and perspectives that you are not naturally encountering in your normal daily life. If you have a healthy fiction diet you'll go to more imaginary places than you can ever afford to travel and peer deeper into more characters' souls and minds than you ever could with most real people, and if the art is good and you're paying attention then OF COURSE you're gonna learn something from all of that!
